Radiohead producer Nigel Goldrich forms a new band, Ultraísta. The band is a collaboration with Atoms For Peace drummer Joey Waronker and Laura Bettinson, formerly of Dimbleby & Capper and now recording as Femme. Watch/listen to their first material below.
I was very sad to hear the news of Adam Yauch’s death yesterday. We looked up to the Beastie Boys a lot when we were starting out and how they maintained artistic control making wicked records but still were on a major label, and the Tibetan Freedom Concerts they organized had a very big influence on me personally and the way Adam conducted himself and dealt with it all impressed me a lot. [New Music] One Little Plane - “She Was Out In The Water”
One Little Plane is folk artist Kathryn Bint. Hailing from Chicago, Bint’s music has been described as “gently wistful, dust-kicking psychedelia”and “dreamy heart warming folk” with “simple, heartfelt melodies” (wikipedia).
She Was Out In The Water is the lead single of her upcoming album Into The Trees. Radiohead Colin Greenwood played bass on the album produced by Four Tet.
Into The Trees will be out in May.

Radiohead kicked off their 2012 world tour in Miami last night and unsurprisingly, there were a few notable moments. Included in their 24-song set were two new songs, “Identikit” and “Cut A Hole”, as well as the first-ever performance of the OK Computer b-side “Meeting in the Aisle”. Watch the video footage below.
Latest Radiohead Demo - A Hoax!
The apparently old Radiohead song that circulated in the internet a week ago was actually not a Radiohead song at all. It is from a Canadian singer/songwriter Christopher Stopa called “Sit Still”. Check out the CNN report above.
